Background

From a 1982 Kenner in-package catalog:

Front and back hatches come off to expose cockpit and clicking cannons. Cannons are removable. Top comes off... inside there's a Crew Chamber, removable escape hatch, and a secret compartment with 5 backpacks and 4 gasmasks.

This ship doubled as an action figure carrying case. The black handle on the top of the Transport acts as a locking device that holds the ship halves together. Turning it 90º unlocks the two halves and allows for separation of the ship's top and bottom. With top removed the "Crew Chamber" acts as a figure storage area. The gray tray is removable.

The backpacks and gasmasks included with this ship are the same as those offered through the Action Figure Survival Kit mailaway premium.
