BackgroundFrom a 1980 Kenner Toy Fair catalog:Finely detailed collector's replicas each crafted of Diecast Metal and High Impact Plastic with sleek moving parts. MILLENNIUM FALCON has rotating laser cannon, movable radar dish and retractable landing skids. The cockpit holds HAN SOLO and CHEWBACCA non-removable figures. The Falcon is probably the most prevelant of all the die-cast ships. It was by far the coolest, making it a good seller. The Falcon came packaged in a window box, unlike most of the die-cast series which were blister carded. There is a packaging variation which includes a backdrop containing artwork of the Falcon being attacked by Tie Fighters.
