Cj's Collection

Here is an overall picture of the entire collection display.

Shown here is the left-hand shelf.

Shown here is the right hand shelf.

Starting at the top right shelf, we see here:  a POTF Luke Stormtrooper mock-up on a Luke Gunner card (I no longer own this piece), a Han Carb sign-off sample, a Leia Poncho mock-up on a proof card with an alternate bubble, an unproduced coin album container the unproduced Droids and Ewoks coins, two unproduced 4-ups (Gamorrean Guard and C-3PO), a run of unproduced Bacta Chamber and Torture Chamber micro figures,  gold test Stormtrooper micro, and five rare coins: a gold 63rd, the two "double-sided coins", the Pitch coin, and a Frosted Lando.  Also in the back is a Blue Harvest EV-9D9, a sign-off Anakin mailer, and a  micro Breakfast award.

On the right middle shelf we have two ESB storyboards, a Han Hoth softcopy and hardcopy , several etching plates, dies and hobs for Jessica Meade and the Falcon coin, a plaster cast of the Jessica Meade coin.  The two Lucite stars given to presenters are C2 and C3 are also shown as well as a POTF Jawa proof on the right (I no longer own this piece).

On the bottom right is a POTF trilogo Hoth Rescue set, an unproduced Ep II Animatronics patch and a prop sample of the Captin Typho eye patch.  Also shown is a cookie mold, the C3 card set, and some preliminary artwork for the Y-Wing backdrop as well as a production backdrop.

The bottom left shelf holds a stack of Kenner caralogs, a sculpt for a Crafthouse medallion, and some reproduction figures and 4-ups.

The left middle shelf holds half the Han Hoth collection.  Shown here are 4 proof cards, a couple first shots, a Brazillian lead, a 4-pack mailer sign-off sample (with Han Hoth inside), a Japanese Poppy, a Polish bootleg, and an ESB Meccano.  Also in the back are a Han Hoth coin and my original Han Hoth from childhood.

The top left shelf contains all my micro Han Hoth collection.  Picture is pretty self explanatory: various 4-ups, waxes, castings, paint test, molds, artwork, sign-offs, etc.

Above the left shelf we have two painted hardcopies (in the case), an ESB Han Hoth doll, a POTF FX-7, a Death Star prop section from ANH, carded Chief Chirpa and the Chief Chirpa hardcopy mold.

Above the right shelf is another POTF logo, the POTF raised hands artwork, a case with POTF first shots and a case with Chief Chirpa sculpts and hardcopies.

Shown here is the case of my Cheif Chirpa run from clay to hardcopy.

Finally on the top of the shelves is a case of first shot figures.

Death Star section from A New Hope (w/ Han Hoth for scale).

Above the shelves we have the original artwork for the POTF logo

On the upper rack of the closet we have various Han Hoth carded, foreign, and sign-off samples.

Finally on the left of the rack is more Han Hoth and a first shot Imperial Shuttle.

Here we have a close up of the unproduced gold 63rd coin.

Some various Kenner catalogs.

Unproduced Carded Chief Chirpa

Shown above are several stages of development of the unproduced Chief Chirpa Ewoks figure.  First is the original clay sculpt.  The next three images are prelimary wax casts.  As you can see the detail gradually gets more and more refined.  The next two picures are of the final wax sculpting.  Finally we have a hand-painted hardcopy figure.

The two pictures above are the mold used to make the Chief Chirpa hardcopy figures.  This mold was cast off the original wax sculpting.

Above is the unproduced Han Hoth 12" doll.  On this figure only the jacket is original.  The rest of the clothing and accessories are cobbled together from various other figures...

...and the doll in the box.

These two pictures are of a couple of unique double headed coins.  These were made just for fun by the coin manufacturer.  Only 2 of each exist.

These four items are etching plates - used in the coin process to make the text on the coins.  The images are transfers from the original concept artwork, so they differ from the actual coin image.  The Jessica Meade is an unproduced coin.  There are separate plates for the backs of the coins, not shown here.  Interestingly, the Falcon back is the alternate text for that coin.

Here is a picture of the POTF die for the Falcon coin and a die for a Bend Ems version of the same.  The Bend Ems die was never used to make production coins as the Bend Ems coins ended up being cast, not stamped.

A photostat of the Gaff figure concept art.

Brazillian lead Han Hoth bootleg.

Here we have three pictures of the original wax sculpting of a Han Hoth micro figure.  This sculpt was damaged, but fixed beautifully by an original Kenner sculptor.  The main thing was that the arms were missing.  The sculptor sculpted new arms and attached them to the piece.

Here's a close up of the Ral Partha concept micro piece.

Here's a larger picture of the Leia mock-up.  Notice the bubble, which is more like the Luke Trooper bubble than the production Leia bubble.

Two pictures of the Tie Pilot paint master.

A close up of the POTF FX-7.  This is the same piece that was photographed for the 1985 Toy Fair catalog.

A full 62-coin set in a custom frame by Dan Flarida.

Various prototype and unreleased coins.

Original Kenner artwork for SSP Vans.

A POTF Skiff proof sheet.

POTF unproduced X-Wing Comp

Above are three logo concepts for the POTF line.

In these two pictures is a complete set of unproduced micro figures for the unreleased Bacta Chamber and Torture Chamber playsets.

In these two pictures are two 4-ups for the unproduced Jabba's Dungeon micro playset.

Here is an original sculpting for a Luke Skywalker medallion from Craft House.

This is a "Blue Harvest" 2-up of the EV-9d9 figure.  Though you can't tell from the photo this figure is twice as large as the production figure.  These Blue Harvest pieces (which include several other figures) were made in the early 90's by Kenner employees from the original molds used for the vintage figures.
